Hi Janet, It was so nice to come out. We're so happy to have made the drive out to see you
all. It was great to meet with you both as well. We had a great time and are very
excited. We can't wait to take her home! Thank you for being such wonderful breeders. We're so thrilled to have chosen you! We're looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again for taking care in starting our training. We know you will take good
care of her!

Hi Janet and Dan!
We just wanted to let you know how Well Reese has been doing since coming
home! (he was in the Best Start Program) He has "sit" down pat and is pretty damn good at several other
commands! He walks great on leash and has been attending "doggy daycare" a
few days a week where he's already playing with the big guys and getting
along great with all of them! We're so happy to have him as part of our
family!

UPDATE

Hi Janet and Dan,
Firstly, again I cannot thank you for our early Christmas present. Marty was worth the 6 week wait and also that it was fate that we were able to get him on such short notice.
Marty is becoming a car sleeper. Within 5 minutes, he sleeps during travel. Ride home was good and no accidents along the 3 and half hour drive. The first night was a challenge, no crying though. Just was behind in the bathroom outings during the night. As for the last 3 nights, no accidents in the house as I was able to recognize his need to go. I bring him to work for half days. He loves my office and usually sleeps under my desk and loves attention from clients that come in.
He is a show stopper with everyone. Like myself and family, people always comment on his eyes.
He is adjusting to our other little dog. Wants to play with him more than anything. Our neighbour has a german shepard that he was introduced to and they had a successful play date in the park over the weekend.
He loves and plays with the variety of toys that we got him. He is excessively chewing everything in sight but we are mindful to give him a toy to chew instead.
Overall, it is very smart and seems to learn things easily. Crating is also becoming easier. First time was a nightmare but he eventually settled. Will keep you updated as he grows and I sincerely thank you and am also forever grateful for the amazing gift that you have given me and my family.
All the best to yours,
Amanda

...later  So our Marty is approaching 4 months now. He is big, healthy and an absolute joy! He last saw the vet for final vaccinations on January 21st and will be starting school on Monday. Weight at that time was just under 35 lbs. He loves to be outdoors, walking, playing and especially in the snow. He enjoys the crate when he wants his own space, which is seldom as I have spoiled him by having him sleep with me in my bed. He is very smart, was completely house trained within a couple of weeks of having him. I love my dog as he never leaves my side when I’m home and everyone else adores him as well.
Again, thank you for the amazing addition that you have given my family

Update
Hi Dan and Janet,
Luwis is doing very well. He howled for about 45 seconds in the car the day I picked him up, and not a peep since. He is quiet and quickly falls asleep in the car. He is 38 pounds. He is very sweet and very busy. He makes really funny noises when he wakes up...sort of sounds like Chewbacka from Star Wars, he grunts a lot when he wants a treat or affection. A couple weeks ago he had a little bunny in his mouth and this morning he came to the back door with a chickadee. I don't think he caught them because he really is not going to be a track star!! He is very obedient and loves walking by me off leash, pulls a lot when on leash at certain times, but I am working on it. My family and friends just love him and every person we meet wants to know where I got such a beautiful dog.

Update
Hi Janet, just dropping you a line to let you know how happy we are with Foster, he is such a
sweetheart, we love him to death, he is 67 lbs now at 8 mos old. I think he looks a
lot like Skeeter. He has such a beautiful dark coat that people are always
commenting on. He goes to doggie daycare 2-3 days a week which he loves and so do
we, he is so tired when he gets home after playing with all of his friends he gives
us a break, which is nice . He does have a lot of energy that is for sure. He is
also pure muscle, so strong and very toned, that is another thing people are always
commenting on as well. I have enclosed a picture for you. Thank you for everything,
maybe one day soon we will be looking for another one. If so we will definately
contact you. Pam

Update:
Bailey is a sweet puppy and doing awesome! She is so smart...at only 10 weeks, she is sleeping through the night, starting to whine at the door when she needs to pee, and just a few days ago learned to finally walk on a loose leash (although she still sits her butt down hard and refuses to move for Darren!). She loves people and other dogs. She is a fantastic addition to the our family! Thank you

We start puppy school this week! Having so much fun with our new sweetie!

Update: Just a quick update on Niko...He is doing amazing!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect addition to our family, it was absolutely meant to be. Niko has done 2 classes at his Kinderpuppy school so far and knows how to 'come', 'sit', and 'lie down'. He is such a joy....when he's nuzzling into my neck when being carried to bed at night, or when daddy takes him for a long run before dinner. Niko is also growing quickly and is almost 20 lbs now! His big-boy hair is coming through now also and his legs have sprouted quite a bit - he'll be a teenager before we know it! Thank you so much for our precious boy - we love him so incredibly much. Will post pics soon! Agatha & Barry

Melissa and Shannon with Chloe
UPDATE   Hi Janet and Dan,
Chloe is doing great in her new home. We love her and are so fortunate to have such a smart and well socialized puppy!
She is doing well with housetraining, loves riding in the car, and is beginning to understand walking on a leash.
Chloe and I walk twice a day (morning and night) and we have met so many neighbors we didn't know we had!
Chloe loves to meet new people, and everyone always comments on how beautiful and shiny her coat is.
Chloe has been introduced to children, cats, and other (bigger!) dogs and there have been no issues. She is gentle and friendly with everyone. Thank you so much for helping us acquire our new family member. You were 110% worth the 16 hour drive! :)

I have included some pictures of Boss with the kids – they are loving every minute with him. He is a playful pup which is so great!! We are so happy with our choice. I really have to say a big thank you for making this process so simple for us – your help and support and pictures through the wait was fantastic – I would recommend you to anyone anytime.

We named our lab Dodge. He is doing just fine up here. He is loving the snow and his seat on the four wheeler. I introduce him to the atv, took about 5 sec and he wasn't scared anymore after having a ride on the rear seat he did not want to get off. He'd much rather be outside then in the house. I discovered I am in for a real treat, his energy level is definately on the high side, (between lots of naps). He did amazing on the ride home, only got sick once near barrie and let us know each time he had to relieve himself which is a good sign. He is for sure a great addition to our home. Talk soon, John
Update
Hi Janet, how's it going? Just wanted to give an update on Dodge from Skeeter and Fauna. 5 months old today, he weighs a light 50 lbs and won his first 1st place ribbon tonight. I have the confidence to say there will be many more to come, we are just getting started. He has been in puppy obedience with the Sudbury and District Kennel Club since January and scored top of the class by 4 points today. He loves to please, we could not ask for a better dog!!! He flushed his first partridge on Sunday morning. He is always exited to ride the snow machine and atv, he can't help but smother me with kisses, lol. I will do my best to get you a picture by the weekend or early next week. Very proud of my boy!!! Thanks, John

UPDATE
hi guys!!! we made it safe and sound....holly was a trooper on the way home - stopped once in london for a pee and a walk...made it home right in time to see the kids and surprise them with their santa present before bed. here are a few pictures of the homecoming and this morning's adventures. thank-you so much for your patience and understanding last night as we made our decision. dealing with the loss of a family pet is so emotional- i had no idea how hard it would be to make a decision on which little sweetie would come home with us. holly is in love with the kids, and vice versa. she is just what the doctor ordered this christmas - pure joy.
thanks again, and we'll update you on her progress as we grow together.
