Only 5 minutes outside the small town of Wallaceburg, we are living our dream having raised our 3 children in a big country home. We are both former professionals who decided to leave the world of being trapped behind a desk in an office. Raising Lab puppies has become a dream come true. In the spirit of doing our part to save the planet we grow much of our own food in a garden. 

We have raised a couple of pigs, turkeys, chickens and have laying chickens for their fresh eggs. Although we are not farmers, we enjoy the satisfaction of biting into an organic tomato or other vegetable fresh from the garden. What we can’t eat we freeze or pickle for the winter months. We are close to Mitchell’s Bay on Lake St. Clair where we fish for bass, perch and walleye. We throw balls into the water for the Labrador retrievers until our arms fall off. 

Our children are now grown and starting families of their own. Two of our family members, our boys are working with us and we are passing on the knowledge of breeding quality service dogs that we have learned over the years. This will ensure our tradition of breeding genetically sound, super smart, easy to train and even tempered dogs .  They will also continue our donation of dogs to service dog organizations in both Canada and the USA. If you are asking why do you focus on chocolate Labrador dogs? Well, although we have black and yellow lab puppies the chocolate color is Janet’s favorite color lab! A chocolate Labrador retriever has always been something she has wanted.
